Terms of Service

Danko Wage is payroll software that helps South African businesses and accounting bureaus calculate pay, generate payslips and keep payroll records. It is a tool — it does not replace professional tax or legal advice.

• You must give accurate details and keep your login credentials secure.
• One account type is chosen at signup — Business or Accountant — and it cannot be switched afterwards.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

New accounts get three months free, with no credit card required. When the trial ends you move onto the plan you selected at signup. We will remind you before that happens and you can cancel at any time.

Paid plans are billed monthly in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Fees already paid for a current month are not refundable, but you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

PAYE, UIF and SDL figures are calculated using the SARS tables that apply to the selected tax year. You remain responsible for reviewing your payroll, confirming employee details, and filing and paying over the correct amounts to SARS. We are not liable for penalties arising from incorrect data you entered or from filings you did not submit.

• Do not use Danko Wage for unlawful purposes.
• Do not attempt to breach, probe or overload the service or other customers' data.
• Do not resell access without a bureau plan that allows it.

Your payroll data belongs to you. We process it to run the service as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can export or request deletion of it.

We work to keep Danko Wage available and reliable, but the service is provided as is. Planned maintenance and occasional downtime can happen. Uptime commitments apply only where a plan explicitly includes them.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or that has unpaid fees, after giving you a reasonable chance to fix the problem where possible.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
